About leasing cars:
I have successfully leased cars from a US company called
EuropebyCar. It is wonderful. The rates are very low, the cars
are brand new (right off the showroom in France) and doing this
avoids the tax and insurance. They have a website and two offices;
one in San Franciso and the other in New York. I have used them
three times; and have been very pleased each time. The website is

I have a comment about car leasing. I will be traveling to France
in June for 22 days and have leased a Peugeot 106 Automatic 5 door
for 20 days thru Kemwel Holiday Autos. They are at www.kemwel.com
I received their brochure thru the French tourist board here in
the US and after contacting a lot of car rental agencies and
getting prices from $1000.00 - $1400.00 US dollars for 20 days
which included CDW (I need an automatic as I can't drive a stick
shift). I called Kemwel I found I could lease from them the car
listed above for $803.00 US dollars for the 20 days with 0%
deductible, unlimited mileage, Manufacturer's Warranty, 3rd party
liability, fire & theft, etc., and have the car paid for before
leaving the US.
